Daggubati Venkatesh is born on 13th December 1960 at Karamchedu, Cirala, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh. To the star producer Mr. D.Ramanaidu and D.Rajeshwari. Venkatesh is well known as “Victory Venkatesh” to the audience and he has done his graduation in MBA from Monterey Institute on International Studies, USA. After that he returned to India, he wanted to get in to production side. But his brother advised him to become a actor and after that he became an actor in telugu films. His father Mr. D.Ramanaidu and his brother D.Suresh Babu are already in the production side with one of the most prestigious banner in the Telugu Cinema “Suresh Productions”. And Venkatesh has done his debut movie “Kaliyuga Pandavulu” under their home production. After that he is married to Neeraja (Madanapalle, Chittoor District) and by the god grace he has a son Arjun Ramnath (6) and three daughters, Aashritha(19), Hayavahini (14) and Bhavana (8). He has become one of the family heroes of Tollywood. Venkatesh acted his first film “Kaliyuga Pandavulu” in the year of 1986. after two years he played the hero role in “Swarnakamalam” under the direction of K.Viswanath who is the great classical director and it was the first film that Venkatesh got the Andhra Pradesh State Government’s Nandi Award for his best performance. After that he got a break with the movie “Bobbili Raja” which was directed by B.Gopal and bollywood actress Divya Bharathi played the female lead. The performance of Venkatesh and Divya Bharathi is tremendious, the comedy is very good and the Music in the film is simply superb. In the film “Sathruvu” he played the role of young Advocate who takes law in to his hands as he fails to give justice to the public through court. From this film one of the great talented actor Kota Srinivas gave excellent performance in the villan role. He has done another movie “Kshana Kshanam” with one of great creative director of Indian film industry Mr. Ram Gopal Varma. It bagged huge success in the box office. He acted another film “Chanti” which was a remake of tamil movie “Chinna Tambi” in 1991. It was a difficult project for Venkatesh and he done the role simply superb. From this film he became the Family Hero especially for women. After that he played lot of roles in the films like Sundarakanda, Kondapalli Raja, Dharma Chakram, Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu, Pavithra Bandham, Preminchukundam Raa, Surya Vamsham, Raja, Kalisundaam Raa, Nuvvu Naaku Nachavu, Lakshmi, Aadavaari Maatalaku Ardhale Verule and Thulasi are some of the huge hits in his career. For the films like “Swarnakamalam”, “Dharmachakram” and “Ganesh” he got the State Government’s most prestigious “Nandi Award”.
